The postcard on the left shows Vogel's Restaurant as it looked in the 1950s. The picture above was taken in 2004 during our reunion weekend. Vogel's was located at 1250 Indianapolis Blvd. in Whiting, IN for over 50 years. The restaurant closed in 1997, a victim of changing tastes in food and the opening of the nearby Harrah's Horseshoe Casino. The building once occupied by Vogel's was recently demolished. |
